The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk from a beautiful horseshoe-shaped theater. We had a wonderful dining experience at an excellent restaurant with delicious food.

Pure elegance, beautiful building, blend of old and new. Staff service & friendliness (not always a staple of Italian hotels) more than up to international standard. They upgraded us to a superior suite with the largest terrace in the hotel and a marvelous view at no extra...

There is a beautiful garden. A quick 10-minute walk is needed to reach corso umberto. The hotel is housed in a magnificent building very close to palazzo dei congressi...

I stayed here for two nights and dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant that served us incredibly delicious food.

The hotel has an excellent location and is a quiet oasis in a busy town. The building itself is stunningly beautiful and the rooms and furnishings are what you would expect from a five star hotel. The cloistered courtyards...  

The facilities for business use were quite poor with limited access to internet & business facilities. in the end I had to go into the town to use the internet facilities

The views were insane - like seriously, you could see the whole Mediterranean and even Mount Etna. We explored all the historical cities nearby and even went to this cool island called Ortigia. And the best part was the cooking lesson, where we made our own food and drank fancy wine. It was lit!

Only thing we wished was more nightlife options for us party animals. Like, don't get me wrong, the hotel was awesome, but we wanted to turn up and dance the night away.

This place is perfect and the staff, from reception to concierge, are always wonderful and polite.

-Amazing place:building, garden and rooms. We were upgraded to a Junior suite with terrace.

- Wifi and internet (even in the public PCs by the restaurant) are not free which is not acceptable after paying more than eur300 per night. Breakfast can be improved.

The interesting origin as a convent and the location, as well as the cloister coutyard and landscaping

The recent builiding additions are not in keeping with the origin, Both the architecture and some of the interiors are fairly poor - could also be more modern and more in keeping, as long as the quality is better than today. E.G. the interior treatment, incl. Dado panellig in the bar and restaurant is not in keeping with the furniture, and the lighting is poor. What the hotel needs is a well qualified architect to carry out a study with clear recommendations so that the hotel really appears as "one of the leading hotels in the world". The maintenenace of bedroom windows, doors and fiurniture is also poor.
